The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) and transit operators across the Commonwealth celebrated the fourth annual, statewide Try Transit Week from September 19 to 23, 2011. For the fourth year, Virginians tried transit and experienced the many benefits transit has to offer.

While Try Transit 2011 is over, the benefits of using transit never stop! Using transit is a great way to get where you need to go while saving time and money.
