The information collected on the pledge form is necessary in order to administer the ridership contest and to notify the winner of the one year free transit pass. DRPT will only collect, retain and use personal information for the purpose of the ridership contest.
If, during your visit to this site, you send DRPT an e-mail message, the e-mail address and contents of the message will be stored. DRPT will use your e-mail address to respond appropriately. This may be to respond to you, to address issues you identify, to further improve this Web site or to forward your message to another party for appropriate action.

DRPT will not reveal specific information about entrants or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use, except as required by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act or other law1.

This site is maintained under security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized access to ensure that this service remains available to all users, and to prevent unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Information on individuals causing damage to the web page will be traced and released to the appropriate legal bodies (such as the Virginia State Police) to investigate suspected or alleged criminal activity.
